Jessica Garcia, MSW, LCSW (Not currently accepting new clients)
Jessica (she/her/ella) is a bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist and founder of Healing Waves Therapy & Counseling, PLLC in North Carolina. Born in Queretaro, Mexico and raised in NC, she created her group practice to increase representation and provide culturally responsive care for the Latinx community. Jessica specializes in working with adults navigating generational trauma, first-generation experiences, and complex family dynamics. Her approach is holistic, anti-racist, and empowerment-focused. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, boxing, plants, good food, and time with loved ones.

Irma is a bilingual LCSWA at Healing Waves Therapy & Counseling PLLC. She earned her MSW from UNC Charlotte and is passionate about supporting clients through anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions. She offers a compassionate, culturally responsive space and uses approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and relational work. Irma values meeting clients where they are and integrating their cultural and spiritual backgrounds. Outside of therapy, she enjoys traveling, quality time with loved ones, and scrapbooking.

Julianna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate at Healing Waves Therapy. She earned her MSW from UNC Chapel Hill and is passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Julianna creates a safe, collaborative space rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys running, exploring new shows, and spending time with her three pets — Franklin, Momo, and Remi.

Ebony Brown, MSW, LCSWA (Currently accepting new clients-Telehealth Only)
Ebony specializes in supporting women, especially women of color, through anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, and major life transitions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel grounded, confident, and aligned with their values.
She offers a supportive space to explore challenges, build practical tools, and reconnect with the version of yourself you want to be.

Charlotte Shoneman, MSW, LCSWA (Currently accepting new clients- Raleigh, NC & Telehealth-Immediate Availability)
Charlotte (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A) and UNC Chapel Hill graduate. She works with individuals and partners ages 16+ navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Charlotte creates a supportive, affirming space and uses an eclectic, evidence-based approach including DBT, CBT, ACT, and EFT. Outside of therapy, she enjoys reading, knitting, gardening, and spending time with her dog Clover.

Kamaria Faison, MSW Clinical Intern
Kamaria (she/her) is a bilingual Social Worker from Durham, NC with over a decade of community-based experience. She is pursuing her Master of Social Work at UNC Chapel Hill and has worked extensively with marginalized communities, including Latine, gender-diverse, refugee, and Black populations. Kamaria is passionate about creating a space where clients feel seen and heard. Outside of work, Kamaria enjoys gardening and discovering new eateries.
