My name is Estephanie Linares. I am a proud daughter of Salvadoran immigrants, born and raised here in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a non-traditional student at NC State University, I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Social Work. My academic journey is deeply rooted in my passion for mental health and social justice. I am incredibly honored to be welcomed as a volunteer with the exceptional team at Healing Waves Therapy & Counseling. Witnessing the diligence and dedication of their diverse group of professionals—and their tangible impact on clients' lives—has been a source of great motivation and an invaluable life experience. I carry the inspiration from this time forward as I humbly pursue a career dedicated to supportive and safer futures for our communities.
