Julianna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) at Healing Waves Therapy & Counseling PLLC. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and feels honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.

She is passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, are coping with anxiety, depression, or PTSD, and those seeking guidance through life changes and interpersonal relationships. Julianna believes each person is the expert of their own life and strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their stories and reconnect with themselves, their relationships, and their communities.

Her clinical approach is rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, the Satir Growth Model, and Narrative Therapy. Whether clients are hoping to process the past, navigate the present, or build a more fulfilling future, Julianna works collaboratively to reflect their inner capacity for joy, strength, and growth.

Outside of therapy, Julianna enjoys running, discovering new TV shows, and spending time with her three beloved fur babies — Franklin, Momo, and Remi.
